HMS Hermes (Falklands 25) baseball cap
Marking the 25th anniversary of the 1982 Falklands War, this cap has an embroidered depiction of the Centaur-class aircraft carrier HMS Hermes, one of the two carriers that provided air cover for the Task Force. Due to be decomissioned shortly before the Argentines invaded the Falklands, she instead became the flagship of the Task Force with her force of Sea Harriers, Harriers, Wessex and Sea King helicopters. She left Royal Navy service in 1985 and was sold to the Indian Navy as INS Viraat in 1989.

All profits from the sale of this cap and the other items in our Falklands 25 range go towards the running costs of the HMS Coventry website, which acts as a memorial to the crew lost in 1982, and a virtual meeting place for ex-crew members.

This Beechfield cap is 100% cotton drill (Azo-free) and has a velcro adjusting strap - one size fits all.
